01 — The Method

Learning the way we knew it as children.

A body‑oriented learning method developed by the physicist and behavioural researcher Dr Moshé Feldenkrais — drawn from physiology, biomechanics and neurology.

“If you know what you do, you can do what you want.”— Dr Moshé Feldenkrais

The FELDENKRAIS® Method uses human movement in its most elemental form to support individual development. It draws on the nervous system’s natural ability to create order and form new connections.

Neuroplasticity. “Most brain researchers now agree that the experiences we make throughout life are anchored structurally in the brain.” — Gerald Hüther, neurobiologist. Learning here is not the accumulation of knowledge, but learning through experience.
02 — What movement releases

Life is movement. When we improve the quality of movement, we also improve the quality of life.

Whether you are a footballer, marathon runner, dancer, musician, sitting at a desk or balancing family and work — the method offers many ways to become aware of your patterns, use yourself more efficiently and engage the whole self.

If you are curious and looking for new ways to relate to yourself, your pain, your work or your art, you are in the right place — at any age.

— Moshé Feldenkrais

07 — About
“Human dignity is inviolable — let us give it back.”— Marlene Wendt

Even as a child I was always in motion and full of curiosity. That drove me to many different stations — my interest was always the whole person: How do they move through the world? What touches them? What moves them?

Time and again I am amazed at how participants change in the course of a seminar week — towards more ease and openness, which also affects how we are with one another.
